Dublin Irish Festival Announces 2026 Honorary Chair

DUBLIN, Ohio (March 9, 2026) — The City of Dublin and the Dublin Irish Festival are proud to announce the selection of Kyle Steinbauer as the 2026 Honorary Chair. Steinbauer was selected by former Dublin Irish Festival Honorary Chairs in recognition of his contributions to the Dublin community and dedication to the Festival. As Honorary Chair, Steinbauer will preside over events surrounding the 39th Dublin Irish Festival, July 31 through Aug. 2, 2026. Responsibilities include serving as a yearround ambassador for the Festival, starting the Dublin Irish Festival 5K and Kids Dash, participating in opening ceremonies, judging several Irish contests and leading the Festival finale. 

Steinbauer serves as Director of Operations for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center- Outpatient Care Dublin. OSU has supported the Dublin Irish Festival since the inception of its Dublin campus. He and his wife, Andrea, are proud parents of three elementary school students, Beckett, Hayden and Mila. Andrea is a social worker with Luminary Hospice.  

Deeply committed to community wellbeing, Steinbauer is passionate about making the City of Dublin and its surrounding neighborhoods healthier and more connected. He actively engages with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and local nonprofit organizations, including the Dublin Food Pantry and OneDublin.
