Dublin Irish Festival 5K & Kids Dash

The Dublin Irish Festival 5K & Kids Dash presented by IGS Energy will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2026. The Kids Dash will begin at 6:35 p.m. and the 5K at 7 p.m. in Historic Dublin.

The Dublin Irish Festival 5K will start on South High Street just south of Bridge Street. Race day registration, as well as the Post-Race Party and Concert, will be in the Spring Hill Lane parking lot located at 55 South High Street starting at 5:30 p.m.

Road Closures for the 5K

The 55 South High Street Parking lot and Spring Hill Lane between Mill Lane and South High Street will close from approximately 3 – 10 p.m.

South High Street, from Bridge Street to Tuttle Road, will be closed to through traffic from approximately 6:10 – 8:30 p.m.

Other roads closed at this time include: Marion Street, Monsarrat Drive, Longview Drive, Grandview Drive, Karrer Place, Country House Lane, Haymaker Lane, and Settlers Place.

Residents who live east of South High Street in Historic Dublin will be able to exit to Bridge Street via South Blacksmith Lane during the race.

During the race only, residents on Marion Street, Monsarrat Drive, Longview Drive and Grandview Drive may exit their streets using the City access lane on Monsarrat Drive onto Pebble Creek Drive.

In the case of an emergency or on an as needed basis, Dublin Police will be stationed throughout the route to escort residents out of the area via motorcycle officer.  

Your support of the City of Dublin’s special events makes them fun and enjoyable for all. Even if you don’t run, the athletes could use some encouraging cheers, or plan to join us at the Post-Race Party and Concert that goes until 9 p.m. Thank you for your continuous patience and support on Thursday, July 30 as we alter traffic and parking patterns.
