Columbus Clippers to Host 6th Annual Dublin Irish Festival Night Friday, July 7

Hooligans to Headline the Party at the Park in the Right Field Plaza

  • Join the Columbus Clippers on Friday, July 7 at 7:15 p.m. for Irish Heritage Night, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Dublin Irish Festival.
  • Cheer on the Triple A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, the Columbus Clippers, as they take on the Norfolk Tides, the Triple A affiliate of the Boston Orioles. Guests are encouraged to show their support by wearing green or Dublin Irish Festival branded apparel.
  • Guests can enjoy pre-game festivities including, Dublin Irish Festival entertainer and Central Ohio favorite, the Hooligans, who will headline the “Party at the Park,” playing live music in the right field plaza. Music will begin at 5:40 p.m. and end at 7 p.m.
  • Guests will also get in the Irish Spirit with the sights and sounds of bag pipers from the Cyril Scott Pipe Band and Irish dancing featuring the Regan Rankin Holland Academy of Irish Dance.
  • City of Dublin Mayor, Greg Peterson, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at 7:05 p.m. accompanied by Dublin Irish Festival Honorary Chair, Kitty Munger.
