The 2022 Dublin Irish Festival 5K presented by IGS Energy will be held on Thursday, August 4, in Historic Dublin to kick off the 2022 Dublin Irish Festival.

Cultural experiences will include workshops, exhibitors, cooking, historical displays and more.

From hearty stews to traditional Irish breakfasts, the weekend is a buffet of Celtic cuisine. If you would rather choose a hamburger over haggis, there are plenty of food vendors offering traditional American eats.

Hero Hut

The Hero Hut is a covered rest area which offers complimentary snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and veteran resource information. Hero Hut, presented by Schoedinger Funeral & Cremation Services.

Real Irish Comedy Tour

The Festival will host the Real Irish Comedy Tour in the Abbey Theater – inside the Dublin Community Recreation Center at the north end of the Festival.

Shopping

Need the perfect present? Whether you are shopping for someone special or looking to treat yourself, more than 90 vendors at the Marketplace and Emerald Isle offer a one-of-a-kind shopping experience.

Sports

The Dublin Irish Festival’s Greenfields Sports Area features a variety of athletic demonstrations. Watch as athletes from around the region compete in traditional Highland Games events and activities for guests of all ages.

Sunday Services

Grab breakfast and pick from one of six services spread across the Festival. On Sunday, Aug. 7, non-perishable food items and monetary donations for the Dublin Food Pantry will be collected at each Festival gate. Guests arriving between 9:30-11 a.m. on Sunday will receive free admission.

Wee Folk

Families will enjoy the Wendy's Wee Folk Area, the Pot O' Gold Playland, interactive cultural villages and the Celtic Canines. The Pot O' Gold Playland will feature more than 20 inflatables and activities.

Whiskey Tastings

Tastings have long been a Dublin Irish Festival favorite. This year’s tastings will take place throughout the weekend in the Whiskey Tasting Tent. Registration is required for all tastings, so get your tickets early, as seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased on-line.
