2012 Cultural Activities
The cultural areas of the Festival allow guests to discover their roots, step back into ancient times or learn a new skill. With a variety of exhibitors and four dedicated cultural stages, there is something for all interests and abilities.
Cultural Stages Include:
The Spoken Word stage is the home for poets, storytellers and authors reading from their works.
The Irish Workshops stage features hands-on demonstrations ranging from jewelry making to baking.
The Music Workshop stage is the place to see musicians explaining and demonstrating how to play their instruments.
The Irish Traditions stage is where you can learn more about Ireland today and in the past through talks on the history and culture of the Emerald Isle.
There are also a variety of cultural exhibits along with a genealogy tent, an area devoted to music exhibits and many more.
