ALCOHOL AND BEVERAGE SALES

Beverage token sales are located throughout Festival grounds.  Tokens are required for all beverages purchased from Festival alcohol, soda and water stands; cash not accepted. Food vendors and beverage tastings do not accept beverage tokens. Alcohol sales end 30 minutes prior to closing and soda; water sales continue until closing. Tokens are $2 each

BABY CHANGING STATIONS

Changing stations are located near the East Festival entrance, Nationwide Children’s Hospital mobile unit near Pot O’ Gold Playland and in the Dublin Community Recreation Center

BAGPIPES

There will be a number of pipe and drum groups performing throughout the Festival. Join us at the Tansky Sawmill Toyota Greenfield Sports area  for Bagpipe showcases.

BIKE PARKING SPONSORED BY DUBLIN METHODIST HOSPITAL

Ride your bike to the Festival to save gas and get in shape.  Park in the complimentary Bike Parking areas located west of the Dublin Community Recreation Center or at the corner of Coffman Rd. and Emerald Pkwy near Coffman High School.

BREAKFAST

Sunday, August 5 from 9:45 a.m.- Noon.  The traditional Irish breakfast will be prepared by The Irish Baker, Claddagh Irish Pub and Mary Kelley’s.  Bob Evans and Katie’s Pancakes will offer a Traditional American Breakfast

CELTIC CANINES

The Celtic Canine area offers guests the opportunity to get an up-close look and even pet some of Irelands most loved breeds.  Only pre-registered Celtic Canines with credentials may be on Festival Grounds.  Celtic Canines may not enter any buildings. Click here for more information

CELTIC ROCK CLUB

Open to members only, the Celtic Rock Club is a VIP area with fantastic views of the entertainment on the Killian’s Celtic Rock Stage. Click here for more information on becoming a member

CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES

The Wee Folk area is located at the southeast end of the Festival

COOLERS

No hard- sided coolers are permitted on Festival grounds.  Guests may bring small insulated soft-sided bags not larger than standard 6-pack size (6” x 8” x 5”), one per person. Guests may not bring alcohol into the Festival and all bags and coolers are subject to search

DANCE LESSONS

The Cardinal Health Ceili Dance Tent allows spectators to take part in the traditional form of Irish dance and offers dance lessons

DUB CLUB

Experience the 25th Anniversary of the  Dublin Irish Festival from the Dub Club. This VIP area offers an exceptional view of the Scotts Miracle-Gro Dublin Stage.  Members have access to a private bar and restrooms.  This package offers individual guests daily access to the Dub Club and Festival admission tickets.  Click here to become a member

DUB CRAWL

Stroll through Historic Dublin and experience all it has to offer at the Dub Crawl. Shops, restaurants and bars will be hopping with street side music and dance to celebrate the start of the 25th annual Dublin Irish Festival. Thursday, August 2: 5 p.m. – Midnight

EMERALD CLUB

The Emerald Club is a private pavilion in the heart of Festival grounds.  It provides a comfortable way to relax while listening to the music of the Time Warner Cable Trinity Stage. Click here to become a member

5K and Kids Fun Run/Walk

The Dublin Irish Festival/IGS 5K and Kids Fun Run/Walk will take place on Thursday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. and will begin and end in Historic Dublin. New in 2012, you will want to be sure to bring the kids out for the 1st annual FunRun/Walk taking place just before the 5K.  This event will be the kick-off to the DubCrawlRegisteration and more information

FEIS (Pronounced “Fesh”)

The Adult Feis competition is on Friday, Aug. 3 at 8:30 p.m. (warm-up starts at 7:30 p.m.), at the Cardinal Health Ceili Dance Tent.The Columbus Feis takes place at Dublin Coffman High School on Saturday, Aug. 4.  A separate admission price is charged.  For more information visit www.columbusfeis.com.  The Parade of Champions is a dance performance, featuring the winners from Saturday’s Feis contest will take place Saturday.

FESTIVAL FINALE

The 2012 Finale will be at the Scotts Miracle-Gro Dublin Stage on Sunday at 8 p.m.

FIREWORKS

No fireworks are permitted.  No fireworks will be displayed

Located at the southwest, north and east entrances and staffed by Washington Township Fire Department

GATHERINGS AT THE POND

Family gatherings, reunions, non-profit organizations, civic associations and others are discovering Gatherings at the Pond, a private space in Coffman Park near the Dublin Community Recreation Center where groups can get together during the Festival. Learn more about how to book this space

HANDICAP PARKING

Located in the north parking lot of the Dublin Community Recreation Center (DCRC).  A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the Information Tents and at Festival Operations in the DCRC.

HANDICAP RESTROOMS

HIGHLAND HEAVYWEIGHT GAMES

These traditional Gaelic games consisting of events with heaving, lifting and tossing, will be on display a the Tansky Sawmill Toyota Greenfield Sports Area.

HURLING

It’s a sport, of course! A team sport of ancient Gaelic origin, and played with sticks called hurleys.  Visit the the Tansky Sawmill Toyota Greenfield Sports Area to check out this unique and fast-paced game.

IRISH COMMUNITY PRIDE PARADE

Representatives from local Irish organizations showcase pride in their heritage.

IRISH CONTESTS

At 3 p.m.  Sunday, visit the Wendy’s Wee Folk Stage where  Skelly the Leprechaun will emcee three contests in the categories of: Reddest hair, greenest eyes & most freckles.  These contests are open to guests of all ages.  Age categories: 8 & under, 9 to 17 and Adults.  See “Kilts” to learn about the first “Best Legs In a Kilt” Contest.

Did you know the Festival holds the Guinness World Record for the largest Irish Jig?  The record breaking achievement included 10,036 DIF participants on August 4, 2007

KILTS

What Irish Festival would be complete without kilts? Take a gander at some gorgeous gams in our first annual Best Legs is a Kilt contest.  Interested in showing off your legs? Come to the Time Warner Trinity Stage Sunday, Aug. 5 at 6 p.m. donning a kilt and your best calves!

LOST CHILDREN

Lost children should be taken to the nearest Information Tent. Locate it on the Festival Map

LOST AND FOUND

Lost items may be turned in at any Information Tent or in Festival Operations inside the Dublin Community Recreation Center. Guests may complete a lost item form so they may be contacted if the item is later found.  All items will be kept for one month after the Festival at the Dublin Community Recreation Center. To inquire about lost items post-Festival call 614-410-4545

MUSIC LOVER VIP EXPERIENCE

Experience the 25th Dublin Irish Festival like never before. This new VIP package offers the opportunity to enjoy the VIP areas of both the Dub Club and the Celtic Rock Club. REDHEADS

Join fellow redheads for the Midwest’s Largest Gathering of Redheads photo shoot. There will be a group photo opportunity, Sunday, 5 p.m. at the Tansky Toyota Greenfields Sports Area bleachers.

RE-ENTRY

Same day re-entry is allowed.  Guests may have their hands stamped when they exit the Festival grounds for later re-entry.

RV PARKING

For participant ticket holders, RV parking is available at the Dublin Community Recreation Center.  For Festival guests, RVs may be parked at Metro Center

SCHOLARSHIP

The Deadline is March 1st, 2012 to apply for the Dublin Irish Festival Scholarship.

SEATING

More than 8,000 chairs are provided at the entertainment venues.  There is no need to bring lawn chairs.  Lawn chairs are not prohibited but discouraged.
